I have nothing against all the things liberals stand for. All the rights for marginalized groups and women, etc etc is all fine. But I hate how people who identify as liberal act. I hate how they demand that everyone needs to be like them or else you're just garbage in their eyes. I even hate when white straight men dye their hair pink or rainbow and put "he/him" in their twitter bio, like we get it bro, you're super progressive.

I'm all for liberal values, but I fucking hate liberal people. Does that make sense?

And so I feel like I can't identify as liberal, and I feel like I need to become conservative just due to how much they trigger me just to combat them. I don't think there's a single conservative value I care about. I just don't want to be a liberal.

It does sound like you dont like when people do liberal things, so I think that kind of translates to you not really liking the liberal things.

If someone establishing their pronouns is enough to trigger you, then yeah, you might want to see a therapist to help you through a problem like that. That really shouldnt bother you

I didn't know hate for dyed hair was a primary conservative value.

I hear you, to some extent.

I live with two roommates one democrat and one republican. One is former full time worker turned NEET who collects unemployment every week and literally, not exaggerating, watches 10+ hours (i may be lowballing with 10) of CNN, youtubers, MSNBC etc every day

I bet everyone who just read that instinctively knew that I was describing the democrat..lol.

why do you have to qualify progressive with super progressive? pronouns and hair dye aren't the most progressive things in the world. it sounds like you don't like liberal aesthetic, which is kind of superficial.

This sounds harsh, but why are we trying to normalize this practice and get people to use gender neutral pronouns for 0.6% of the population? I don't think 99.4% of people should have to change for 0.6%.

Now don't get me wrong, they can have all their rights and they can ask us to use their pronouns sure. But I don't think they should be encouraged to guilt us and and insult us and cancel us if we refuse.

Just be a socialist and shut up already
