because it's just a hole in your body that doesn't do anything. it doesn't just heal and smooth over to become flat and flush with the rest of your stomach, no.

it's just this healed folded skin hole in your stomach.

All placental mammals do. That's where the umbilical cord was attached.

Marsupials and monotremes don't have belly buttons, neither do fish, reptiles, amphibians, or birds. Marsupials nourish their young in an yolk sac, all the others lay eggs.

Good info.

The fact that you're still alive enough to post tells me you don't actually do that.

I mean, most animals - regardless of whether we're talking populations, biomass, or species counts - aren't placental mammals. It's an accurate enough statement.

Whoosh.

It's called deep breathing and engaging the core in the process.

Which is not breathing as though you're breathing through your bellybutton. It's breathing while recognizing the role that the adbominal cavity plays in diaphragm expansion. I've been a brass player for ~23 years and a singer for 13. I'm very familiar with the concept of engaging the diaphragm. If you were breathing through your bellybutton, no gas exchange would be occurring because you don't have lungs connected to your bellybutton. Breathing through an orifice that does not connect to lungs is not something you should try to emulate, for what I hope are very obvious reasons.

Because nothing says "insanity" like suggesting that it's best to breathe through a hole that connects to your lungs.

Is he wrong though? Most people who know what a belly button is know that placenta mammals do. But all Mead said was most animals. If most animals are placenta mammals, wouldn't that still mean he was right?

I'd still love to stick my tongue on another persons belly button.

You breathe through your nose and/or mouth. Deep breathing isn't the same.

Don't put logic in Sunnys mind. He will only stick his head up his arse and hear his own voice. Also he could block you because he's proven wrong. I hope some hunk takes his wife away from him.
