I didn't recognize it after my wife killed it. I never felt a bug bite or sting that painful, it felt like getting stuck by an electrified needle. Got it right on the ring finger. Whole hand hurt for about 10 minutes but it's starting to feel normal again. I don't have any insect allergies as far as I know.

I was stung by an unknown insect when I was a kid. I nearly died of an allergic reaction that kicked in within seconds. The thing is, I'm not allergic to bees or anything like that. So, no idea what it actually was that got me.
