At least the episodes that focus on Michael. I still love the show, but that cringe comedy is often just too painful to sit through.

Sometimes Michael's (and Andy's) antics were more awkward and less funny. But usually the reactions of everyone else somewhat balanced it.

I think if I hadn't already watched it before I might not be able to deal with him now.

I honestly couldn't watch Parks and Rec at first because early Andy. He grated on me and made me super second hand embarrassed. Was in a better headspace to deal with his early antics, which is good because I think overall it's a good show.

I thought I liked the American office show... but the more I see of it, the more I realize it annoys me. I dunno what happened. I just grew to dislike it as time goes on. It's no Parks & Rec.

I have a friend who's really weird about cringe comedy. Like he has a hard time watching it. I was showing him impractical jokers clips and he said that stuff makes him uncomfortable

^I totally get it. I can't watch that show either. And not because I think it's dumb or anything; I just feel very uncomfortable the whole time.

Am I not an outsider on the office anymore? I honestly never enjoyed it. It has some funny clips/gifs but the episodes are a pain to watch. I really don't like awkward and or cringe humor it's one thing to cringe through a short scene it's another thing to have an entire episode of it.

I think the worst thing The Office did was give us the "parkour" meme. It's never funny no matter what is paired with it.

I didn't really appreciate Michael Scott until I saw David Brent and, seeing the gag done right, I got a better understanding of where they were going with it. (Then again, the UK Office does most things better.)

I like Impractical Jokers but they can get obnoxious really fast.

idk, David Brent has a full character arc whereas Michael never really reforms his behavior. And while David is a bigger ass than Michael much of the time, he still manages to be more amusing than Michael on the whole. (Although Michael has a few better gags, like the sexual harassment episode and the prison Michael thing.)

I actually do like Michael; it's just when his antics have large consequences or when he's affecting people not in the office that it gets unbearable. Like when he and Dwight go on sales runs and do something stupid, or Scott's Tots..

Both Parks and Rec and Community are infinitely better shows.

I enjoyed my first watch through of The Office but I struggle to enjoy it anymore

Well, among other things, it let the other characters shine and they were able to do a lot more. However, a lot of the manager Andy stuff just felt like unused Michael storylines.
