Back in 2013, I ran a Best US City tournament pitting the top 128 cities (based on population) against each other to see which city Board 8 liked most.
In that first tournament, Seattle, Washington, defeated Madison, Wisconsin to take the crown as Best US City. I'm thinking of running the tournament again. 128 cities, using the newest population numbers for seeding (Every city with a population of at least 200,000 is entered). This topic is to check to see if anyone would be interested in participating. The 2013 contest had between 5-15 participants usually, and I'd be okay with those numbers again, but won't host it if there simply isn't any interest anymore.
