Banjo-Kazooie is literally Super Mario 64 with polish and comedy. I legit don't understand how it can get any kind of hate.

Banjo-Kazooie has significantly worse level design than Mario 64, and having to collect all 100 notes in one run is incredibly tedious in more than a few levels

The levels are far more fluid since you don't have to restart them everytime you grab a jiggy. The notes are a cakewalk compared to the annoying ass 100 Coin Stars in 64. Eh I could say the same about notes though. I think Rusty Bucket Bay and Click Clock Wood are the only two that leave you in danger of dying.
For SM64 I'd definitely include Tick Tock Clock with Rainbow Ride, but you also have levels with a lot of instakills like Shifting Sand Land Cool Cool Mountain.
