She's a lifelong gamer who has heard good things about a new video game and wanted to try it out.

Yes of course it was a publicity stunt, but it was closer to genuine than 99.99% of previous publicity stunts in the history of politics.

Yesssss. I watch All of the toast crew's among us streams. (Would have been fantastic to have Sykunno, etc on hand for the stream, but I understand why they wanted other big names like Lupo etc. They couldn't just grab all the players from the same pool)

Toast is also just a fantastic sport. He literally walked in on both Ilhan and AOC committing kills early on and didn't throw them under the bus to give them a better opportunity to learn the game. Or there were several rounds where he pegged both impostors early and just hung back to give them more time to learn themselves and put them in positions where they had to make the call themselves instead of just voting when the more experienced players tell them to.

With that said Ilhan struggled and I felt like they were humoring her a lot of the time. Parts of her interactions were borderline cringe for me <_<

Particularly with the AOC stream if you see Toast's perspective it's just night and day between how he approached the game and how everyone else seemed to. He was going above and beyond to try to create scenarios that would be good for content and would result in the newer players having opportunities to participate, but a lot of the others were sweating it from the start.

And they needed to do a better job of making sure everyone had switched to the beta. They didn't even explain that Isra was getting kill confirmations as well as a host of other potential bugs and glitches because she wasn't switched on the beta <_<

I feel like they needed some players who just could agree to not be sweaty for the first couple of games, letting them get their bearings. Especially because they're newbies playing against basically professionals. It was still a lot of fun to watch, though. But there are some streamers who I think would've made better choices at least for the first couple of games because they're easy going like Toast was.

99% sure it was actual twitch staff because they set up her entire account and verified it within 24 hours of her saying she'd like to stream. They don't even allow 3 letter usernames anymore so she had to get a special account created.
