I modeled it after my favorite user, Moonroof.

Found it interesting to see the many types of investors
Some people like me just want to invest in the strong - companies that always reach their all time highs - APPL, AMZN, AMD, NVDA, MSFT, SQ, RH etc
While others are trying to find the bottom of crashed stocks - CCL, AAL, DAL, BA etc
Some are even going for the middle ground - stocks that they believe are underperfoming (but were not crashed too bad) and are kidna consistent - like INTC, KO

Loaded up on 1/22 $7 calls for SABR after they announced doing some airline navigation AI thing with Google
Also got some short term 1/21 or 1/22 calls for airlines + retail + oil + pfizer.

Did this by selling a lot of my TRVN and replacing them with 1/22 $2.5 calls to keep my total shares available roughly the same.

I'm either going to make a lot of money or lose a lot, depending on whether I understand options as well as I think I do.

There's a lot of different strategies you can use. That's a good thing - if everyone used the same strategy I think the market probably would be much more prone to bubbles than now.

sold all my LUV, maybe I miss out on even higher gains but I hit my "get out at 42 if the vaccine isn't out" point. hoping for a dip to get back in.

I am finding myself too fearful to get in before the election, and as such Im missing sweet gains.

The time to buy is when others are fearful. Conversely, if all the good news has already come out and there's no fear, the prices will have already gone through the roof.

I reckon now is a great time to get into Chipotle. It was hovering around $1,360 for a week or so. Then today, its target value increased from $1,375 to $1,450. Despite that, it fell 5% for some bogus reason of delivery issues. I reckon it will correct and be at $1,425 sooner than later.

It looks like I got in CNK at the right time. Made about 20% in a week and a half. LEVI went up nearly 40% in a month before I got jump in though.

A Israeli Pharmaceutical company, Biondvax (BVXV) were developing a vaccine for a general flu for 15 years
Their phase 3 trial failed. The vaccine is useless. Shares dropped 86% in a day.
Sure, it was a drop after a massive rally - and whoever bought before the rally only lost around 10-20%, but anyone that bought near the top was fucked

This is why I stay the fuck away from hit or miss companies.

I gave up on AMD and sold for 9% loss

Not going to stay for earnings especially after seeing what happened to Intel (I know AMD is in a different league..but combine with how unforgiving the market is today..a bad earnings report can turn into a bloodbath)

It's true that usually the US leads the markets in the rest of the world but..Europe looks bad, very bad (lockdowns are pretty much confirmed)

I think weve hit exhaustion. People just dont feel like social distancing any more which is going to make the holidays spike hard. The widespread increases indicate to me this isnt a political problem but a human one.

So I dont know whats going to happen. Cruise stocks got obliterated today. Curious if they will keep tumbling

Everything is red for me today except XSPA. I guess at this point the market is treating them as mostly their new ExpressCheck business of doing testing in airports rather than their old business of express spa treatments in airports.

Darn it, I knew I should have listened to the Moonroof indicator. (When Moonroof buys a big position in a big company that is on a major uptrend, the market is about to correct.)

Yes. Chipotle has gone down ever since I bought it. But it will rise again, someday.

I don't have any Chipotle. But I think it's also an indicator for the market in general. My account was at an all-time high on Friday when you made that post - should have sold everything!

I have to say, SUN looks really admirable after all this. Most of the other oil stocks have been beaten within an inch of their life (VLO, XOM, PSX, the list goes on) yet SUN continues to hold on to the $24-$25 range like Linus clutching his blanket.

I was on the VLO train in the early months of the pandemic, but shifted gears to SUN once I saw the writing on the wall. Rather glad I did.
