No it's not, the popularity o that game despite it's obviously stolen engine and gacha practices is everything wrong with modern gaming, slap some scantily clad girls into a pile of crap and suddenly people go gaga for it, it's how the Fate franchise made it's money, it's how Fire Emblem brought itself back from ending up as another F-Zero, Metroid, Star Fox, Earthbound and Advanced Wars, it's how those Xenoblade games sell especially 2 over 1 because it's got dozens of those girls as well as a built in gacha system as well, it's how Gen 8 of Pokemon ended up being the most popular gen yet because of Nessa, Sonia, Gloria, Marnie, Bea and Klara, it's how Dead or Alive managed to make Last Round live long enough to have over 2,000 dollars worth of DLC and finally it's how Overwatch remained in people's minds despite it being nothing special. Cute/Sexy girls sell especially nowadays when people buy such games even harder as a fuck you to SJW sony who censors games like that.

Even Aeistiar a franchise about the ins and outs of being the item traders in RPGs sells because of the hot girl on the cover

it's actually a decent game in its own right tbf. makes some aaa games of 2020 look like a joke.

main downside right now is it's not completely finished yet. they've only released like 1.75 of the 7 regions. so if you really enjoy it, you may find yourself running out of things to do until the next content drop.

I should note here that EarthBound as a series is finished, as in, the story that the original creator/writer wanted to tell across the games has concluded, and he has no interest in making another one. Since he has partial ownership of the series, Nintendo can't make another one without him.

Xenoblade 1 and X sold pretty well, considering the consoles they were released on (1 was a late Wii title, far past the point where the casual Wii crowd stopped buying games for it; X released on the ill-fated Wii U, and pretty late as well). Xenoblade 2 had the advantage of being released in the launch year of the Switch, and the Switch even then doing much better than the Wii U did.

Yeah. People are already running out of stuff to do after the story and the resin system limiting a lot of stuff is a big problem.

the gacha stuff is pretty bad if you want more than one specific character.

you can get your dream character if you're willing to spend time rerolling and creating new accounts. i found out too late that it's just a matter of making a username on PC instead of tying a new email to it every time.

What are the percentage in the gachas compared to others? Am I gonna steamroll that much more with the OP items?

You don't have to use the gotcha system at all. I'm already at level 20 for everybody and building up to Adventure Level 15.

Endgame purposefully going to the Genshin board just to shit on it is such an Endgame thing to do.

I don't mind the gacha TBH. I have self control. However, most of these games always hits a wall and the dailies always become more like a chore than anything.

I just recently stopped playing a gacha because the dailies had you do a million things to stay current and I was like FUCK THAT.
