woo first anime of the season beated
Wandering Witch was pretty good stuff, for the most part. Elaina's a great protagonist, and the show was beautifully animated. Most of the episodes were pretty interesting, but a couple of the comedy episodes (the doll one and the wine one) were dumb and brought the show down. Ended with a great finale at least. Seemed to be setting up an S2, so I really hope it gets one. Will probably read the books at some point. Starting Tonikawa next and the OP is amazing. Three series beated yesterday:
Sport Climbing Girls - I mostly liked this, but it definitely fell short of what it could've been. Some parts are EXTREMELY rushed (particularly the ending), and some characters were pretty meh. At least we got Cool Chris out of it. She was great. Sleepy Princess in the Demon Castle - Best anime I've watched this season so far. Extremely funny at times, and full of likable characters too. Also excellent animation. Real pleasant watch. Tonikawa - This was consistently good, but I wasn't quite as into it after the first couple episodes. The pace felt kinda slow in a way, and I wasn't really into the supporting cast, particularly the bath house crew. Was also annoying every time the MC was like "oh man I'm such a pervert for wanting to see my wife naked" and such. No wonder Japan's birth rate is falling... Would read the manga/watch an S2 tho. With Jump having a much more global audience these days, I wouldn't be surprised if they were going to be a bit more hard on this stuff, I hope.

Not to make light of child pornography and the shit that goes into making it, but on an individual basis I think pulling the trigger on a violent act is worse. I don't see the amount of porn to be very relevant to the morality of it.
