Why couldn't I access the shop on my other accounts? I tried to reroll (PS4 bad, I know), but since I have a total of 3 accounts, I figured I would try to get Keqing. But after I summoned on my HK and UK accounts and tried to go to the shop to convert the stuff to more single pull things, it said the shop was no longer there or something.

I spent the day rerolling since my AR7 rolls have been complete ass (seriously, two Amber dupes?).
Doing AR5s, I got Diluc in one account and Jean in another, but the one AR7 I did has a stellar lineup. It's about what it does to immersion and character investment for me. I really struggle to care about anything I can pull from a banner. You can probably complete all content with the free characters but that doesn't change that progression is still gated through the Gacha. Lot's of things are summon exclusive like the constellation unlocks even for the free characters. You'll see in almost any gacha game that high end players do shit like beat the hardest content with the worst characters/equipment just for fun. Most people can't play on that level though. I dont think you need to spend anything. Im using Amber, Lisa, Beidou, and Fischl(?), all of whom I got for free. The first two are story characters, and I was using Noelle (guaranteed through gacha and they give you enough for 16 pulls from pre-registration bonuses alone) and MC before.

There arent nearly enough characters to make the gacha aspect a big influence. The appeal of the game is the vast open world, elemental combos, and online co-op.
