McGregor wasting his prime by fighting legendary boxers that easily whoop him instead of trying to reclaim the lightweight UFC title.

What a waste of an amazing fighter.

There's got to be one or two boxers able to go toe-to-toe with Pacman or Money Mayweather.

He's literally never defended a belt.

Dude just wants a payday. he knows he can make a shit ton of money fighting a boxer thats a huge draw, and when he loses it can be framed as "of course he lost, he's not a boxer"

he has zero chance of ever beating Khabib and he know it. and another loss will significantly hurt his appeal and draw.

he has the same chance of winning that a pure boxer has of winning a UFC fight, which is zero

He was literally on the verge of getting knocked out by floyd mayweather, who's only KO in the past 20 years was from a cheap shot.

Conor is never going to be able to beat any boxer that's worth a damn in their element. It's not even going to be fun to watch.

I'd rather see one of these boxers try to fight in MMA rules and take it more seriously than James Toney.

Why? That's like saying I want to see lebron james try to be an NFL linebacker.

Yeah he has the athleticism, but he's hopelessly behind on how to compete at and elite level.

An MMA fighter is taking most of their tools away, while pretty much all boxing training is useful in the octagon. If they learn some takedown defense, they could possibly stand a chance against some fighters.

Both are at a huge disadvantage, but the second scenario produces a more interesting fight imo.

In his 20s Lebron couldve actually switched over to a tight end.

That wasn't the point, though I don't mean full time.

It could expand their fanbase a bit by dipping into a sport with a younger audience, but there really isn't much incentive besides challenging themselves. That and it's slightly less dangerous long term.

I would argue it would be much easier for a boxer to win in the octagon than a MMA fighter win in the boxing ring. At least with the heavier KO weights.

Lol, nah. They'd get wrestle fucked, maybe take a few shots on the ground before giving up an easy choke.

Pacquio hits way harder than Mayweather, Im not sure how down hill Pacquio is now though, hopefully he hasnt lost too much. I would think Manny wins by KO pretty early
