Oh yeah Ive now managed to do a F and a G bar
chords with my short fat fingers. But it made my hand hurt

Sounds good! Even the timing, it's pretty loose but you still manage to take control of it which is probably one of the biggest skills you can have as a musician

I'd practice that thing with a metronome, maybe set it slower than usual until you can nail those switches and then take it a little faster than you would normally play it just to reinforce those movements

Look up videos on how to do barre chords too, maybe you'll find some resources there that can make it easier.. it always sucks to do them up there but it'll definitely get easier

Keep up the good work though, try and rip off some other rhythms just to see where you can take that riff.. try it reggae, ska, bossa nova, punk - just to work on all skills! :D

Sounds pretty good to me so far, just keep practicing.

Google the CAGED system and learn that, it will help a lot
