And I'm relatively confident that if I were alone on a single platform I'd give myself about a 50/50 chance of lasting 5 minutes. Generally the game ends because someone else screws up, or someone gets grabby so I either die, or I have to put them down because I'm not going to let mr grabby take me down without striking back. I feel like you reach Jump Showdown often enough to get a feel for the mechanics.

Also "best jump showdown" player likely doesn't mean someone who never messes up a jump. It likely means someone who will definitely put you in the drink if you are sharing space.

Yeah, I can't really agree that it's just "playing the game." It'd be like saying bumping people in NASCAR to make them crash is just "playing the game." It's intentionally trying to take people out in ways they wouldn't normally be taken out in order to make it easier for you to win later. It may be part of the game, but it's beyond the regular intention of the game, which is why people call it griefing.

Now, that said, I'd argue there are levels of griefing.

For instance, I'd say grabbing in Jump Showdown is less egregious, since it doesn't go against the natural win condition since it's naturally something you can do between jumps.

Doing stuff like stopping to block people on Slime Climb or push them off the end is going directly against the win condition, though, since the whole point is... It's a race, so stopping and turning around is counter to what you're intended to be doing.

It's all still "griefing," though.

For me it boils down to "I don't do it or care for it, but I'm not gonna stop people from doing it because I can't so I'm just gonna focus on my own thing". I just don't care to have to go to the level of messing up other people to get myself further, and so far it's been doing me well! Perhaps I'd have a few more wins doing that but it's not to a point that's upsetting me.

If you're playing Roll Out without the goal of racking up as many kills as possible I'd definitely argue you're doing it wrong.

Standing on the twinkie in Slime Climb is annoying but this is a competition at the end of the day. Nothing you do to eliminate said competition while still trying to win yourself should be seen as griefing. Actual griefing IMO is just standing around wasting time when you're the last one alive in Slime Climb or turning around to ruin someone's day in Fall Mountain.

Yes, colliding.

As you're working toward the objective.

Intentionally standing on the skinny things in Slime Climb or stopping to wait and push people off at the end is not working toward the objective and therefore does not fall under normal "colliding."

By all means, you're free to do it. I grief. Pretty much everybody griefs. There's no reason to try to deny you're doing it, though. It is what it is.

I just think it speaks to peoples' character that they take pleasure in spoiling other people's fun. Especially in Slime Clime where it's hard enough just making it to the top. But that's just me.

Honestly, the only thing I'd consider griefing is people who hold you on the beginning of Fall Mountain so someone else (probably someone in their group) can get ahead and win. As that's the only time where they're not actively trying to win -- since there can only be one winner.

Pushing/blocking on Slime Climb is part of the game imo.

I think in survival modes anything's fair game, since literally stopping others from surviving is because is necessary

But in slime climb, already the hardest course in the game, it just feels like bad sportsmanship tbh

Levels can have added or different obstacles. New anti-cheating system for PC. Lower minimum playcount for some games.

It was a funny game because the other two teams were just scrambling over the golden eggs while there's just a pile of eggs in the middle that only my team was getting.

On the one hand, the updated Fall Ball has nigh completely nixed the awful strategy of spamming newly spawned balls in the center, but on the other hand what the fuck is this pure chaos? I've yet to actually play it myself so not sure what to make of it yet!

Woah the patterns are different in Gate Crash. That really threw me off.

Just played my first game since the update and actually won it, wasn't expecting that. Gate Crash has a different pattern and Rock N Roll now has bumpers that slide back and forth! The first one threw our team for a loop but we managed, and it ended up having all 3 balls all within 2% of each other for winning!

Dizzy Heights had swinging balls over the third section where you have to hop across the spinning discs.

If your GPU uses the "lighting service.exe" process you may have to manually close the process before launching fall guys, just FYI.

It kept triggering the anti-cheat and closing my game.

These remixes are neat. I just did Dizzy Heights where there were no floating platforms in the third section so you were forced to drop down there.

Yeah I've seen 3 or 4 different slimb climb variations with the ending. Lost a few jump club finales because my guy just decides to stop jumping. I think that glitch is worse than anything that has to do with grabbing tails

I only had time to play ~5 games but I'm very happy to say I didn't see a single cheater. Over the last week I was seeing at least one every other game if not more, so this is fantastic. The stage variations are super cool, too!
