Having to use SS3 for this IDBH stage sucks. Almost killed Buu and he fucking dodged all my strong hits at the very end leading me to a losing rotation Xeno SS3 Goku, STR SS3 Vegeta & Transforming Goku) because I was out of items. So annoying because it takes goddamn forever

Is SSJ3 STR Vegeta even any good for events like this? Doesn't he run out of damage reduction pretty early on?

INT SSJ2 Angel Goku was really good in that event. He pretty much takes double digit damage after supering.

Id pull on Buutenks personally. Better banner, hes DFE and wont be back until next anniversary most likely, and I think hes better than Vegeta personally. Vegeta will be in the LR pool so you always have a shot to get him later on.

So Im running Extreme Super INT SBR. I have cleared stage 1 using 0 items so far. I am literally running an INT Peppy Gals team. Brianne is fucking godly. Turn 1 no items and she tanks for double digit damage XFD

Ended up using items on the 3rd and 4th fight just because I didnt feel like risking a loss. Still had 2 Android 8s and a Princess Snake left. Icarus and Whis combined with all the ATK lowering Peppy Gals do made everyone get tickled.

Wow Extreme Super AGL is unbelievable. Literally used a Princess Snake and a rainbow LR SS4 Goku still took 220k+ damage from it. He literally took like 65k from normals too. How in the fuck is this stage even possible

yeah I thought that would be one of the easier ones but LR Gohan after a super with an icarus still took like 70-80k on normal attacks. NO thanks. I'm think you need AGL mai at the very least, and whatever other stun units super AGL has if there are any.

I cant recall, but he still takes enormous amounts. Princess Snake + Icarus active and pre-super LR SS4 Goku was hit by a SA for 93k still :(. Might need to get my team to link lv10 for this one

I still havent finished getting my U6 Saiyan girls to link lv10 either. Like 5-6 bars of stamina now at minimum and Caulifla still has a link at lv9 and same for Berserk Kale. They just refuse to max out. The 3 units I subbed in are close to being maxed out now and they were subbed in while Caulifla and Kale only needed like 1 or 2 link levels....

Yep, I have most of my Kamehameha team sitting with one or two links at 9 for the past week or so while Ive been running Dokkan events to awaken units. Its a miracle I ever even got one of them maxed.

I used a Ghost Usher with that setup instead of my usual Icarus/Whis/Android 8/Princess Snake setup. Jaco absolutely has to float and ideally you kill the enemies before he shows up a second time. He started in my second rotation though Im not sure if thats better or worse.

Turn 1 Ghost Usher. Focus down 1 enemy
Turn 2 Jaco comes out. Put him in 3rd slot and try to finish the fight or at least almost finish it.
For fight 3 you will be out of Ghost Usher and probably have to use items unless your HP was low enough for Rage Beerus to come out and do some stunning.
Fight 4 pray your Dokkan Meter maxes out on the first or second turn so rainbow GoBros can solo the field (if youre against 4-5 enemies). Not sure Id bother if you face Buu/Babidi at the end since he probably has like 25M HP

I finally got around to getting the last dupe of Goku/Bulma from the other SBR, so got it rainbowed SA 20 finally.

The angel goku on that run is interesting, were you able to get his def stacked high enough? Or was it more about the heals he gives?

Mostly for the healing. He always floated and thankfully was only attacked like once or twice the whole run. Mai went untouched the entire thing too.

Kinda feeling like I might need a break from Dokkan or maybe even to just quit cold turkey. The latest ESBR stages made me realize that I'm not really having fun doing that kind of content but that's basically the only thing left for Dokkan at this point. Mindlessly farming cards for content I'm never going to use has started to lose it's appeal.

At the very least I think I'm going to stop spending money on Dokkan but my interest/motivation has really started to decline over the last few months. Anyone else feeling the same?

I totally get feeling like that, but I'm the opposite I think, the new hardest content makes me want to conquer it. I'm more the type to go through natural phases of "okay I'm just bored of this for a while" and pick back up later, independent of what the new content may be. Like if I get to the point where I 100% ESBR and that's teh hardest thing, that's probably the end of my current cycle. But yeah I totally get why just ramping up difficulty to be beyond fair (Kinda like lunatic+ in fire emblem games) won't hold appeal with some people.

I felt that way initially about the original SBR stages but the evolution of that being "well let's just make the numbers higher" is pretty stale to me. I already feel like I've conquered all of this content.

I think Dokkan has just reached the height of what it can do as a game unless they completely overhaul the entire combat system. I applaud Chain Battle for the effort of trying something new but I can't exactly say that was successful.

Oh hey, I actually cleared an ESBR, Super PHY using the same team swordz used (with less dupes and Stunku only at SA1 lol).

What to do with these Battle Masteries now...Kais are the most immediately useful, although 70mil Zeni is tempting right now, and so are stickers.

Chain battle definitely had promise, I think it was just freaking obtuse in how it explained it. It also had the same kind of issue that a lot of EZA's have where it's like "You cannot do this unless you have one of a select few units"
