Flauros 08/19/20 7:47:07 PM #1:	I really dig Timespinner. A lot of games go for that "retro" aesthetic, but this game really nails it. It just looks and feels like an SNES or PS1 era game. I didn't know that egg metroidvania was made by the devs of Celeste lol Anyway I second most of the suggestions ITT (especially Axiom Verge, Hollow Knight, The Messenger and the 2 Oris) My personal suggestions are Touhou Luna Nights (the same dev has put out another game that might be worth looking into, but I haven't yet), the Steamworld Dig series (they're only technically Metroidvanias tbh but I still count them), the Shantae series, Momodora 3 & 4, Gato Roboto and Iconoclasts. --- He was born in a coop, raised in a cage, children fear him, critics rage, He's half alive, he's half dead, folks just call him Buckethead <cite>sauceje posted [p:943588421] in Best Metro...
