They can absolutely shred turn 1 with their poison AoE attacks, then Zaveid gets another strong AoE attack for next turn. If you can get a turn 1 Wildfire from Rokuro/Emil/Rondoline on the opponent you aren't hitting with the AoE it's even more busted.

Zaveid/Dezel is pretty good, yes. Their awakenings help each other too, and you could pair them with another AoE artes status effect character like Lailah. One of the most challenging teams I faced led with those three and Emil.

Lailah will also cover their earth weakness.

Emil/Lailah/Dezel/Zaveid is probably the single strongest initial strike force in Arena, including SSRs, if you factor in their awakenings. Even without Awakenings, still one of the best you can have.

Just so happens that was the exact team that nearly 1 turn wiped me.

I could've Awakened Lailah by now but I went the lvl 90 mem route with her first <_<

I am in literally the exact same boat with Zaveid.

Dezel hasn't even been started yet, though. I've pulled 2 Dezels since launch.

It might have been the same player. I'm pretty sure it was that reddit user Tera that had been promoting their usefulness in the arena. I won, but it was pretty dicey.

I'm 99% sure it was her. I've seen one or two of her videos. She was showcasing those units and the in-game name I was paired against was Tera.

I am getting absolutely floored by Floor 29, can't even kill a single unit half the time. I don't have any Wind SSRs at all so I just can't outdamage through the paralysis shenanigans and Rutee heals. I need a strategy. Wildfire is broken? I guess I need to grind like crazy to try and level up some SRs before the tower goes away

Wildfire, Dezel and or Zaveid if you have them.

Honestly every Wind SR is viable in some way for it, though QQ requires you to level her ability up a good bit first.

Except Jade. Jade is worthless. Look what they did to my boy.

I do have Dezel and Zaveid. If I level them up and use them with Estelle and one of my random level 100s, you think that can take it? Do you think getting them to 80 would be enough

With Estelle in the party, yes. I was in the exact same situation with the Wind Floor, and got through with Estelle plus Rokuro and Farah.

Hmmm Wildfire was pretty critical to me getting through that, but I also think the Water floor is just in general not as hard as the Wind Floor at a base level, so it's a bit of a toss up.

Zaveid is better then Dezel for them, but neither are really raid units.

I can already solo the raid with my tank team but when I have to aid is generally when I wish I had more damage dealers to get more contribution

i hate when you join a brand new fresh raid and then right away someone comes in and nukes the whole boss somehow

i typically have that happen when I join Fire Teagle... so I don't join those anymore

No, I don't think we know anything a out the leaked characters other than Yuna being wind, and there's an assumption about another character's element based on their banner text (the dumbest character leak on the lost I think).

I don't think there's anything Mieu can do that will make me want to pull. Until rainbow shards are given out in events, EX banners don't sound worthwhile

There's a reason Water units are almost never on. The front lines of any arena comp! Rutee is the best one for Arena right now.

What SRs do you have to work with? Earth is probably the closest gap in usefulness for SSR versus SR right now, other than in terms of tankiness.
