Whilst true it's incredibly misleading as they use identical wording for Awakening skills which then do apply to all allies.

Having the same wording mean 2 vastly different things in the same context is pretty bad. I'd imagine they will rectify it at some point

well another way of looking at it is that it's the same wording used for Character Awakening buffs which do mean the plural application interpretation!

Definitely gonna be more proactive in the limited quest this time.

Gotta work on some of these memoria stones too but I dunno which ones to level up!

I haven't leveled up any stones yet besides the event stones that I could get to max and the SSR stones I've found cuz I figure they'll be good no matter what. But I want to work on the dark dualswords guy that everyone is making subgrids with next since I have 4 of him already

Why aren't you using 9 swords in the grid?

I haven't gotten two swords up as high as I'd like, and those two gave better stats than anything else I tried. I really want to 9 sword, but I'm still some ascensions away from that happening.

At that point, you will get much, much better stats from the grid even if those two swords are bad, almost certainly.

25% hp, 10% atk, 10% def

7 swords and two artes give :
16% hp, 7% atk, 7% def

They are reflected on the characters themselves. It will show you a lower boost on the substone grid due to their lower level, but you should see better stats on your team.

Do you guys convert all your rare stones into shards or do you max ascend them and try to level them up? I just hit the 500 stone cap and need to start getting rid of them somehow

Basically, the percentages you see when you view what bonuses you are getting are the percentage of the numbers you see being applied to your characters.

The Sword Grid for example has 25% Health. If your Memoria grid showed a total of 10,000 health, that means each of your characters gets 2,500 additional health.

Taking away even one Sword totally tanks that percentage, so as such even if the numbers are way higher on the grid selection page it may be much worse for your characters.

Element plays into effect here as well, but it's not incredibly significant until it makes up most of your grid. I think a solid goal would be to try and get 9 of each of the Medal SRs so you can field a completely matching Element AND Type grid. I plan to eventually get 9 SR Fire Pascal for a Gun grid, for example, to use with my Fire team.

I get them to max Ascended so they can go to 80, and then shard the dupes.

They're still good for the Substone grid, yes. My dual swords is an extreme example because I've intentionally made it my goal, most of my grids require me to field mostly Rs.

Except for Spear due to Alicia, because I have had 12 Alicia drops.....I'm spending a lot of effort trying to get more Keeles...

Yeah I grinded a lot of light raids trying to get ascension materials for Estelle, never found a single Keele. Figure I'll need to just buy the keeles I need 2500 gold medals at a time. So that will take a few months

I wish the spear substones provided a better bonus. I'm one short of four max ascended Alisha stone, but her attack focus doesn't work so well with spears.

Depends on the situation.

I have to look at it again, but I think gun was better than Dual Swords.

Dual Swords is definitely the best right now due to the pool of Memoria currently available, but Martial Arts and Gun are great, and Longsword will be excellent once the pool is viable.

People go for dualswords because it gives the most attack via the farmable SR and SSR. It's lacking in HP and Defense though so it's very possible that it is made completely non viable by harder content hitting too hard to not be more defensive.

Man I'm trying to beat the phantom tower now and these last 6 floors are hard. 25 and 26 took me a few tries and some team modifications, and now 27 I'm stuck on until I can upgrade a water unit besides summer rutee. Luckily I just got Sophie and a tank would be perfect right now, but I am absolutely broke after having to upgrade Luke to beat the last one. Guess I am going for 10ap for 50k gold a pop for the rest of my AP today

Are you using Wildfire? That makes things a lot easier as it essentially doubles your damage output when it's stuck on someone

I think Phantom Tower basically has 3 solutions right now.

1. Brute force
2. Excessive healing
3. Abusing status effects like Wildfire, Poison, Burn

I have Level 100 Estelle and level 90 Misella so I think excessive healing is my win condition right now, lol. No Wildfire units that I know of. My units in general I've pulled are much more defensive. But on 27 you get poisoned and burned a lot and I've been having trouble healing through it. I wish I could generate some OL for Estelle but I don't have any good ways to do it

Emil, Rokurou, and Rondaline are SR characters with access to wildfire. Emil is the best one for it.

The irony is that I'm actually desperate for SRs right now and my SR luck has been absolutely dreadful. In my last 5 pulls I've gotten 1 SR, Senel. Got Ruca from the event ticket. 3 pull from the Battle Pass was Malik and 2 Veigues. Nothing that actually matters on the character side of things at all.

The ONLY challenge I've had in Arena for weeks are full or near full SR teams, and they almost always nearly wipe me right off the bat or actually do. The only saving grave is Estelle, since once those teams blow their powerful full party status effect attack loads right off the bat, they don't have anything else to follow up with, and Estelle can save my ass.

A Zaveid/Dezel combo this morning killed Leon, Stahn, and Velvet simultaneously on turn 1. Have no fucking idea how I managed to pull it off after that, lol.
