I've seen a lot of horrors and used to keep up with found footage movies pretty regularly till like 2017.

Looking for really creepy horrors. Doesn't necessarily have to be found footage, but that's preferred.

I also have Hulu, Disney+ and Amazon, so if there's something really good there, let me know.

This one was creepy and good. Anyways not sure if these are still on or not. You probably seen it already too but REC 1/2 (Original) and V/H/S 1/2,

Yeah, I've seen all these and are some of the staples I think of when I want to watch some new ones. They seem much rarer nowadays. I've seen all 4 RECs, including the two US Quarantine movies based off them. Seen all 3 VHS movies.

Also, As Above, So Below was amazing. That shit was so claustrophobic and they just kept going further.

Another favorite is Grave Encounters 1/2. Still, nothing beats the original Blair Witch Project.

I don't know about Netflix but I will say there are hundreds on Prime. Most are terrible though.

A few good ones: rec, Lake Mungo, possession of michael king, Grave Encounters (and 2), Gonjiam Haunted Asylum, Europa Report, Digging up the Marrow, lunopolis, a girl like her, they're watching, troll hunter

rec and Lake Mungo are all time greats

I know I missed some.

Thanks. I've seen all of those except 4.

Which is the best from this list?

Gonjiam Haunted Asylum
Digging up the Marrow
A Girl Like Her
Lunopolis

Gonjiam is the best but similar to Grave Encounters

Lunopolis is interesting just because of how low budget it is while still being interesting.

I second Lake Mungo.

IDK if it's on Netflix but 2011's The Tunnel is pretty good for found footage.

The Bay is probably my all time favorite found footage. It does it so well, without the ridiculous shaky camera. I think it's on Hulu.

Grave Encounters 2 and VHS 1 and 2 were my picks. And REC if you were into spanish stuff.

Welp, I am out of suggestions.

Thank you very much everyone. I guess this just shows there hasn't been much in the found footage genre recently. I've seen everything mentioned after billcom's post. Some are very obscure, so you can probably tell I used to really watch all of these.

I got my Prime set up. Starting Gongiam right now. I'll bump after/tomorrow as I will definitely be watching more.

Noroi The Curse is on YouTube if you haven't seen it before. Probably the best found footage film ever made.

I was gonna amass a master list of every found footage movie ever posted on reddit but havne't gotten around to it yet.

I've honestly seen more than I can remember at this point.
