If it's just going to be free skins then don't care. If it's going to evolve to pay for everything little new thing in the game to get the full experience that no.

Square-Enix must really be worried this game won't sell to its budget. Probably will be on Game Pass next year.

She's there for story reasons. She's a fan, she gets the avengers back together after an incident drives them apart.

Whelp, I can hear the accusations of SJW pandering already for this because that's a pretty big role for a street level hero. I'm still a little confused on how her powers work, I thought she was just Luffy but apparently her powers are something more mythical than that.

I have a feeling Crystal Dynamics will get shut down after this game fails and that's going to be really unfortunate.

Crystal Dynamics are fine but lets be honest. Tomb Raider followed AAA game trends of last gen. This game is doing the same thing. They're not exactly a company that does anything original anymore.

I mean it's Square Enix. All of their games that aren't single player Final Fantasy or Kingdom Hearts exist solely to fund games that are single player Final Fantasy or Kingdom Hearts, because those development teams have been fucking horrifically managed for over a decade now.

Final Fantasy 15 had a side quest where you made the perfect cup of Cup Noodle brand cup noodles. Final Fantasy 7 had a tie in with Butterfinger. Halo does promotions with Moutain Dew. I'm not sure why all of a sudden company promotions are the worst thing ever created.

It looks like a game that would be fun the first hour or so before repetition sets in. The focus on online coop means you don't really get to switch between characters mid battle like you would typically in a game like this which probably makes it worse.

Ignoring everything else, I just find the idea that of games being carved up like this really gross. Like, nobody has two different internet providers. And from what I hear in the US most/a lot of places you have no real choice in which provider to use.

Also, how will the rest of the world obtain this content if they desire it?

The Spidey stuff is the only stuff I'm not at all fine with.

This is amazingly well said and frankly all that needs to be said.

People have literally made it their mission to hate this game since it was revealed. This is a bunch of toxic internet nerds looking for confirmation bias that literally any extremely minor foible in this game is now immediately loaded as ammunition against it.

I mean, it wouldn't really be fun if Hulk jsut flicked every enemy away, would it? Lol. Even Ultimate Destruction made Hulk killable.

I think that's kind of an inherent issue with a game like this though. It's just never really going to be as good as a game dedicated to a specific hero.
