I would take the $50 giftcard to Amazon and use it to buy a physical copy of Fallout 76.

Upset considering you said she cut off all ties from her exes when we started dating and none, to my knowledge, live nearby. She isn't the type to talk to friends she has been out of contact with for awhile, especially when the relationship ended on bad terms, so she would probably throw the letter / gift away once she saw the name of the sender.

Regardless of context I'd be upset. Not like mad or anything but just a little like uhh what thats weird and be miffed about it. Now what happens after that I'd be more upset about.

I don't have a girlfriend or a boyfriend, but it would be sus as hell and I'd be mad. Not necessarily at her/him, but I'd want answers.

We've had an understanding about it after we moved in together.

If an ex tries to flirt or gift one of us for attention, its okay to accept the gesture once. Then it's our responsibility to shut that shit down for good. It's the mature thing to do. Otherwise it's a clear sign we don't honestly care about the feelings of each other as partners..

I have had a few exes dial me up again hoping to restart (oddly more often after I officially settled down with someone), but I never take them up on it. I try not to keep exes as friends to begin with, so that has not been an issue for my bf. It's kind of easy for me since the number 1 reason I break up with an ex is because they lost what kept me attracted to them in the first place. No serious chance of me falling for them again because what made them hot to me has evaporated...

However, if I did bother to still remain friends with one of my exes, and my partner who I'm locked in with said it was a no-go...bye bye buddy ex. I prioritize my boyfriend.

Depending on what it was I'd just say it was from me.
