A homeless guy randomly walked up to a group of 3 man sized teens, tried to buy drugs, then tried to rob them, then pulled a knife on them? It's not "impossible", there are certainly mentally unstable homeless people that can behavior in irrational ways, but it's very iffy story and blaming things on "crazy homeless people" is an easy out. The fact that the mother admits that someone called saying the teens were attacking the homeless guy is not a good sign. Yeah, the caller could have been wrong, but the mom is obviously going to side with her die so it's not like the mom is the best source of information in a situation like this. But whatever. A homeless guy randomly walked up to a group of 3 man sized teens, tried to buy drugs, then tried to rob them, then pulled a knife on them? It's not "impossible", there are certainly mentally unstable homeless people that can behavior in irrational ways, but it's very iffy story and blaming things on "crazy homeless people" is an easy out. The fact that the mother admits that someone called saying the teens were attacking the homeless guy is not a good sign. Yeah, the caller could have been wrong, but the mom is obviously going to side with her die so it's not like the mom is the best source of information in a situation like this. But whatever.
