Theres not dick there, or at least there wasnt. Its a military town. Its a hick town. Its not a place most people would choose to end up. At the time my wife's mother lived in Athens so we frequented it. Atlanta and metro Atlanta deserves it's reputation, I hated it. Its a great city: super cheap, great music scene, good nightlife/bars, a great mix of different kinds of people due to the university being there, always lots of fun stuff happening around the university/town, and just hot girls everywhere.
