The fight and chase scenes in all of the Dark Knight films are as frantic and incoherent as ones you would see in a Michael Bay Transformers movie. He can sell the cinematic virtues of his films a lot better than Michael Bay, and is clearly a much smarter person, but I still find them to be ultimately much less intelligent and substantial than his style would have them be. Also the cop worship in Dark Knight Rises is fucking hilarious and amazing. I can't even hate it. I'm glad it exists.
