Thats Doom Eternal. All of it. The Mountain Dew and Cheetos. The Dream Theater albums. The hand-cramping controls. And the overwhelming sense that everybody involved is in on the joke, and having a good time. That lack of shame makes all the difference. I mean I was introduced to Dream Theater through PotD but I never associated them with nerd/gamers. Even metal which is kinda nerdy I never thought of as part of the gamer stereotype. Is Dream Theater part of the gamer image? Is prog metal? I thought it was more likely to be Iron Maiden or Metallica than Dream Theater if I had to pick a band to be part of the gamer image. ... The only thing I ever associated with Dream Theater was pretentious nerd-goths playing Vampire: the Masquerade and reading Sandman.
