looks great but looks don't mean much when it takes 10 minutes to walk 3 steps.

Started RDR2 a few days back, I still don't know when I have to simply press a button or have to hold it. Kinda destroys the flow of the game for me.

Yeah controls are clunky. Im not a fan of such a huge focus on realism.

I loved that game the only thing I hated was the supercops that would immediately identify you on sight even if you had your face covered and were wearing a brand new outfit

I honestly don't really have a problem with that (okay maybe sometimes)

But when you are hunting and have to sit through the entire skinning animation EVERY TIME. So painful.

In RDR I figured out how to position my character in such a way where when you click to skin it skips the animation but they seemed to have patched that for the second one.

Decided to search for it and turns out there is another method that still works. Good to know! But the time it takes to position your horse everytime makes me think this isn't worth it at all

its annoying that they patched in camp fast travel from anywhere months after I finished the game. what was the point of making it the way it was initially?

Been a while since I played the game but I wonder if it was possible to put skins on wagons

Not as convenient as riding your horse around but it would be cool if that was a method that let you transport multiple larger skins back to a trader

I never even thought of that. Will play it tonight and report back. Finished the campaign over a year ago but wanted to replay so I'm just now getting into Online

RDR2 seems like the kind of game that would have been fun if it wasn't so tedious with certain details that didn't need said tedium. Like, dude, I play my games to actually play them, not to wait for things to happen so I can play for a short burst here or there.

I never had an issue with controls for this game. Did you drop your controller in molasses?

The game shines in its story-telling, and main mission set-pieces.

I enjoyed it a lot more when I stopped fucking around in the overworld, and just focused on the main-missions and sidequests.
