And if they do get under your skin, then you're gonna have to deal with them. Just remember this: if you don't like something, don't engage them in conversation about it. If they say something rude, ignore them. Don't respond to their insults.

They'll probably continue doing it until you make a move and then you can take advantage of them.

Also, the more people that play, the higher the chance of you facing someone like that. So keep that in mind.
