People nowadays seem to think the opposite though, from what I seen. Like, it is exactly because of bad weather, we ask for delivery, without any consideration to the deliveryman. "They are open for delivery, not our fault if anything happens to the deliveryman, just give him more tip etc". Or like someone said, "It is the store fault if any accident happens, not us who ask for delivery. They are open for business in bad weather, we simply do business." If you live 13 minutes away from the pizza place that means you will have taken him away from the chance to get another delivery for pretty much half an hour. The more deliveries the better and chain pizza places do something called a split wage where they get paid less while they are out delivering.
