Sorta, but it was a work phone. She was playing pin the penis on the body, like a variant of pin the tail on the donkey. Bachelorette party shenanigans.

Yes, a few times. Sometimes I mess with them.

My favourite one was someone texting that "we're just entering the city now", and I responded "meow meow meow". They sent back something like "wtf why", and I just responded "meow meow purr purr". Then they were like "wait is this (some name)", which made me laugh because that tells me they were like "oh wait we know someone that would do this".

once, although I'm not sure it was legit. apparently "there's a beef chilli with 2 hott sauce in my spot in the fridge".

that was texted between two other messages, 2 days apart, saying (paraphrased) "hi this is <dumbass> this is my new number"

I guess what it must be is that he must have typed the number into his contacts wrong. otherwise it seems like too specific of a message to get wrong. "your spot in the fridge" is so personal, you have to know the exact person you're talking to.

I have sent one when I was adding a new contact to my phone. It was funny because the person texted me back and I didnt know right away that it wasnt anyone I knew until minutes later.

Someone sent my sister a text 'are you ready' and she made the mistake of asking what for.

She got a full on female genitalia picture....

Of course, it was a wrong number text and she about died of embarrassment and shock.

When I got this number, some people would text me thinking I was the chick that had my number before me...

I had someone ask if I was going to be at the party in a couple hours. I told them I appreciated the invite, but I didn't think I was going to make it since it was several hundred miles away.

Yes, it's happens a couple times, maybe three.

More often than that though, someone named Dana used to have this phone number and she gave her number out to random memberships and scams more than COVID infection rates at a Trump rally. I've blocked most of them now, but I used to get calls and texts for her all the time. Like multiple times a day. I can see why she gave this number up. Too deep into all these memberships she probably just wanted to start fresh. Except with DoorDash. It took me months to sign up with DoorDash because her account was still connected and they wouldn't switch the number to my account. On multiple occasions I got DoorDash drivers calling me for her orders, asking for clarification on the order or to tell me they were out of an item she wanted. Couldn't do anything except cancel the orders every time, and she *still* wouldn't change the number. Finally I got DoorDash to agree to just remove the number from all accounts and never contact me again. So I guess I never really got to sign up for DoorDash, but I don't have to deal with their bullshit anymore. Still have to deal with Dana's though. Got a text today from a cannabis dispensary informing Dana of the sweet deal alerts she signed up for and is now missing out on. That one might have been kinda useful had I actually still lived in the area and hadn't known a dude who could get me strong stuff for cheaper than any dispensary.

Anyway, kinda went off on a tangent there, but yeah. Sometimes.
