Legendary solo is a bitch with those douchebags.

cant believe it got through a testing phase.

lets add a super accurate, 1HKO enemy, who blends into the environment, and makes no indication that it appears until it starts firing (and you most likely are dead)

I beat Legendray outskirts without dying or skipping, and there was legit 16-20 snipers that popped up, some of which would pop up mid encounter.

2nd most evil level, after Regret

As far as what i remember about H2 jackal snipers...

Outskirts is probably the most infamous

Metropolis gauss hog courtyard was a huge pain

Delta Halo wasn't too bad, the last section near the waterfall could be bad, but you can ambush the cave they spawn in and kill 3 of the snipers with the rocket launcher

Regret sucked a lot and is probably my personal most loathed level in terms of jackal snipers.

Quarantine Zone has no jackal snipers, but has the elusive "flood combat forms armed with human sniper rifles", which are very accurate. Fortunately, they are hella rare.

Gravemind wasn't bad.

Uprising wasn't bad cause Arbiter camouflage.

High Charity has both sniper jackals and sniper flood, but they aren't too bad here.

Great Journey wasn't bad because Arbiter camouflage.

Don't mind me, kinda got Halo on the mind at the moment

IMO, Regret has the same things that make Cairo Station hard (elites dual wielding plasma rifles) and then some (jackal snipers, boss battle against Regret). Once you get past the hangars, Cairo isn't that bad.

Meanwhile, Regret starts with 2 difficult sniper sections, a massive underwater room with drones, elites, and hunters all distracting you from multiple jackal snipers, more snipers after you surface, a hellish 2nd Gondola with a deadly combo of jetpack elites & fuel rod gun grunts, and then the prophet of regret, who has dual plasma rifle honor guards that constantly hunt you down. On Cairo, you can hide & take your time, but on Regret, you have to be on the move during the fight & pray you get checkpoints.

TL;DR version = Regret is the toughest level in the game.

You're assuming they were tested.

Outskirts was pretty bad, you don't really realize how many snipers spawn in the small alleyways after the one right past the pelican drop off. Metropolis also has a dump amount spawn right after you pass the sewer, probably like 10 of them will run up the platforms one after another.

The worst experience for me was jackal valley. The Jackals themselves weren't even the worst part but the combination of them plus the drones that spawn after you clear out all the snipers would melt you. Drones are the 2nd most broken enemies in the game imo. Apperantly you can't headshot them their plasma pistols are stupid. I actually got checkpoint reverted cause I hit the drone spawn and a group of like 5 snipers and a elite spawned all at the same time.

to be fair its only like that on Legendary difficulty. On heroic and lower the dont really hit headshots consistently and usually miss the first shot.

^It actually does.
The jackal are annoying, but its not game breaking. we all know master chief is a awesome spartan but that doesn't mean youre immune to sniper bullets; get in cover. :P
The flood were the enemies I didn't like fighting; too many different things happening too many weapons being fired at you was insane.
