I was tempted to get one of those glass/hard plastic display coffee tables at one point as a display/storage option, but then I realized I don't really any use for a coffee table in general. When I'm meeting friends, I usually go over to their places or we meet somewhere else. Then family gatherings I travel for. Some time ago, I picked up one of those golf ball display cabinets (glass cabinet, with a door secured by a latch -- I got a great deal on it, I think I only paid like $8 whereas the ones I'd looked at elsewhere were $40 or $50). What I could do -- and I'd have to see how well it fits -- is stack gba games against the back then intersperse small collectibles in front of them so I'd still be able to see the labels. It would also solve the sub-issue of the indentations/grooves in the shelves (which accommodate golf balls). Come to think of it, why do golf balls have display cabinets anyway? I know with baseballs, people will catch balls hit into the stands or get them autographed by the team. Is it the same concept with golf balls? (Well, minus hitting them into the crowd.) Because they don't seem as easy to write on. The stock images for the cases show an array of logos on the balls, so I guess the other option is maybe different golf clubs sell balls with the club's logo on it? You know, this could probably be answered with a Google search. If I had to guess, I'd say it has something to do with the last X-Men game having lukewarm reception and any other X-Men game being from the early 2000's and probably a bitch and a half to port. I'm sure the demand's there, but the publishers probably want their devs to focus on other things. When X-Men: The Arcade Game finally got a console port, it went to be PSN and XBLA but not Steam (and I'm kicking myself for not grabbing it while it was on PSN for those 3 years).
