...Or you can just defeat 2 superbosses, do some fishing and pretty much complete the game.

Wyrmhero Blade was the only thing I never got in FFXII. Omega was too hard for me when I was 16.
I drew a map of the entire area Omega was in to be able to get to him.

The Karkata steal from stage 3 is also up there. The early Deathbringer I farmed again was obsolete, lol.

I had a hard time timing the RNG because it advances a bit after you leave through the door.

Was happy enough farming one for the collection.

I've always wanted to try it, but never got it. I've seen mixed reviews for this game, is it as bad as FFVIII or FFII, or is it good like FFVII, IX, X, V, VI, etc...?

I own basically every Final Fantasy game on steam except for XII.
I'll let you judge.

Characters are bad. The story is... well, I never liked square/enix stories all that much.

I play the game for the sidequests and content.

I literally just beat ff 12 zodiac age, fun game and I enjoyed my time with it.

Oh and seitengrat is literally easy as heck to get tc, not sure what timing trouble you had. I honestly thought I would have no chance but I literally got 6 of them in a row, I couldn't believe how easy it was, the timing for it must have been really lax. This is ps4 by the way, the definitive version now what with the ability to switch jobs added in post patch.

I did it on PC with RNG Helper running off to the side.

When I did the ensanguined shield I used regen or heals to modify it but on the sky ferry what I did was wait for it to countdown.

I think other guides used a Reks save file trick with heals but I'm not sure if that works on PC.

Couple of years ago I played a "hardtype" mod of the game.
I soft locked myself in the missile silo because the boss at the end kept on killing me.

That boss is 4x easier in the remakes since when you turn frameskip on actual timers still count down at their normal rate... letting you get 4x combat in

I don't think you understood. I was playing a hardtype of the game with a completely revamped battle system. Your post basically does nothing for me, and there is no frame skip in the PC98 version of FFVIII.
