That seems to be how it goes.
I know multiple couples who have lived together during Covid, where both tested positive at the exact same time and both had completely different symptoms. Some had really high fevers while the other just had really bad body aches and chills, while some were only sick for a couple days and the other was sick for 10 days. this seems to be the reason is such a complicated virus --- ...
