That MHA game, Jump Force, all these dumb press x to awesome arena fighters that lose their playerbase after 20 minutes. Imagine having to be on the development team of these games, putting so much graphical work into something you know nobody will play except little kids that just don't know any better.

Jump Force would've sold millions if it were a 2D fighter.

I believe the only arena fighters that are really successful are the Naruto, DBZ, and Gundam Vs. titles

Granblue Fantasy Versus and Guilty Gear Xrd are both using 3D models.

I accept that, but it also actually looks like the anime, you know? They preserve the feeling of anime very well with the models in those games. Stuff like Jump Force throws it out the window
