30 y/o Joseph Osuna from California was arrested after he pulled a GUN on a White Activist, who doesn't want to be named because he was guarding a black lives matter mural!!

It happened in northeast of San Francisco when he drove past the mural that was painted outside the city courthouse with government approval and rolled down his trailer trash vehicle window and said "All Lives Matter" before he made an obscene gesture and sped off

The white activist said he followed him on his skateboard to get his license plate and report him to police but then Osuna made a U-turn and came back to him at the mural and put a gun in his face.

A cop was behind him and pulled him over as dramatic video showed police ordering him out of the car with his hands up and was arrestd without incident

One bystander said "This is horrible. He exacerbated the situation. He knew what he was doing. He knew people were over here just protesting. And he came over here with that mentality. With a gun! Who left the house today with a gun? None of us did"

The white activist was guarding it after it was painted over by a pair of Trump Supporters as those people wore Trump 2020 merchandise and attempted to conceal the mural's bright yellow lettering with paint

The police are still looking for the couple responsible for the defacing

In that video a bystander asks the woman painting over it with "What's wrong with you?" before her male companion said "We're sick of the narrative, that's what is wrong. The narrative of police brutality, the narrative of oppression, the narrative of racism, it's a lie. It's a leftlist lie, from the media".

The woman then becomes enraged and said "Keep that s*** in f****** new York. it's not happening in my town"

There's little doubt in my mind that if Trayvon had pulled a gun -- and I'm not suggesting shooting unless Zimmerman either went for his weapon or attacked -- instead of physically assaulting and bloodying Zimmerman, he would be alive today. Conversely, Trayvon had already gotten to safety and could have just called the cops on Zimmerman instead of going back to confront him.

He brandished his gun because he was being threatened, because his life mattered. And keep in mind that the only minority in that confrontation was the guy with the gun. The white protestor who took it upon himself to start following and threatening him because he didn't like the fact that the shooter had the audacity to disagree with BLM (and maybe the white protestor's actions were motivated by racism, because he claims he was going to file a police report when the guy hadn't done illegal at that point -- especially keeping in mind he was supposedly representing a movement that complains about white people calling cops on minorities over nothing and the possibility of those confrontations ending badly so, in his mind, that was a reality and therefore suggests a highly malicious intent on his part in light of his beliefs)

Pulling a u-turn and going back to continue confronting somebody you've already escaped from isn't really typical behaviour for somebody that legitimately feels threatened.

And you're strawmanning again because your position is bullshit. The decision to follow him was EXPLICITLY antagonistic -- something that even you seem to acknowledge. As for calling the cops, what I actually said -- and what seems pretty clear -- is that MAYBE race could have also factored into it, especially since he almost certainly wouldn't have done so to a black man and might not have even called the cops on a white man. Given that he claims to believe -- via his BLM support -- that cops just shoot minorities over random non-issues, it sounded like he wanted to use the cops as hitmen.

Apparently you're very much mistaken, considering there was no use of lethal force. Nor was there likely to be any use of lethal force had the cops not intervened. However, if Martin was going to attempt to detain a person who was following him, I'd rather see him threaten violence than actually use violence which is what he ultimately did and that's what turned their confrontation fatal.

I don't know what your streets are like, but they were in downtown California. Given how congested those roads get, a skateboard can often be faster than a car. And sure, just like Martin would have been better off if he stayed away and called the cops on Zimmerman, not going back would have been the more sensible thing to do. Both actions are defensive measures, though, because (and you should really know this by now) people react to threats in terms of FIGHT or flight.

Brandishing a gun is threatening lethal force. That's what guns do. Whether or not the gun is actually fired doesn't change the fact that you're threatening somebody's life to get them to comply.

If you can pull a u-turn, the streets aren't that congested. Regardless, staying in the car is generally going to be safer, given that the skateboard is going to lose if it gets into a fight with the car.

I never defended him intending to call the cops, because there was no call for it at the time.
