Personally its RTS games. I love watching SC2 or the like, but I hate the micro management of playing myself.

Can't really think of any, although some games I enjoy watching more than I would playing. Meanwhile, most things I don't like playing, I wouldn't really enjoy watching.

No, only game Ive ever really watched people play on twitch is diablo II a few times, but I like playing that one too

Horror games usually. Especially point and click/puzzle ones. I did play Decay: The Mare though. I had fun enough, and even though I'm pretty sure
I didn't hate it, I'd just rather watch someone else and actually focus on the atmosphere and story more. If it's really good, it still gets to me. Like a visual Creepypasta with a narrator. When I'm way too depressed or having way too bad a pain flare up to function basically at all though sometimes I prefer watching people play games I love to play than playing them at all. I've watched people playing games I kinda want to play, sometimes deep down really badly want to, but genuinely can't bring myself to. ... Copied to Clipboard!

I think it's action games for me: I like seeing people progress and unfold the story, but they are too hard for me to play.

CSGO and Dota 2 I guess. I've never even played Dota tbh but I know that game would take a toll on my mental health if I started playing

Fighting games are the big one for me. Watching good players is a lot of fun, but it's not a genre I would enjoy unless I committed a lot of time to it.

Super Smash Brothers. I just simply don't get how to control the characters and all the random stuff that happens on screen. But I enjoy watching people playing it.
