Jumping on the marching cards was the absolute worst thing in the game for me. I didn't have much problem with most of the other mini-bosses in that stage, but I couldn't get the rhythm of that part down.

How the fuck is the robot scientist motherfucker not on there? Hes generally considered the hardest boss.

Also the candy corn moves in a figure 8 pattern so as long as you watch that youre fine.

People always bring up Grim Matchstick but I found him really easy. The lobber makes easy work of him and his expert battle is actually easier due to the wind helping you. On expert the hardest battles are the phantom express and fucking Wally.

Me too. Timed jumps / parries / whatever it was called were my Achilles Heel in that game, but up that point there was always another way to approach fighting bosses. KD requiring mastery of that cursed mechanic, paired with the miniboss gauntlet you had to go through just to get to him, really let me down and killed my motivation to finish.

I think Cuphead is actually my favorite game that I couldn't bring myself to beat, now that I think about it.

I was pretty good at the plane levels, never died against Mr Chimes and found the Genie really easy as well. The first part of the stage was the hardest part of the Robot boss for me.

i never got past the harbor stage i think it was.

at the end you were on a boat or some shit and i was killed every damn time.

Congrats, its no small feet.

Played it on PC on release and Switch recently, both 200% all achievements. Might be one of my favorite games of all time.

On a first play, Beppi, Djimmi, Dr Kahl and The Devil were my biggest roadblocks. Oh, and The Docks run-n-Gun stage.

Ive even done some challenge runs like peashooter only, and holy crap does having good weapons make a difference on island 2 and 3. Charge+Roundabout was my usual combo, with occasional use of Lobber on certain bosses.

I used Lobber and the Green chaser most of the time. Smoke dash saved me loads as well
