....and it randomly just updated to version 1.0.4 and changed the logo for the game on the switch's main menu screen

as far as I can tell this is a brand new patch as I see no mention 1.0.4 anywhere

is the logo no longer the raincoat killer? I hope so cause that was a bad logo.

Hopefully it fixes some of the crashing issues. I played DPO on the Switch for the first time this year and it crashed... a lot. Save often.

it changed from just a picture of his face (which it's always been since it launched) do the all red background and a back shot of the raincoat killer with the words "Deadly Premonition Origin" on the bottom which is what was used in promo material

I did the same last month and had the game close and randomly update to 1.03. Unfortunately, that was just for 'Updated Localization for Asian Regions'.

It'd be cool if they patched in something so that owners of DPO get something in DP2 though.

also yes I've had 2 crashes so far.

first time I lost maybe 20 minutes

second time I was saving regularly so I didn't lose anything

currently in chapter 8

DP2 framerate is looking like it sits at a struggling 15FPS and I couldn't be happier.
