Although it looks big from the photo, it is because of the angle it was taken with a camera trick that makes it look big It is a giant golden-crown flying fox, a large fruit eating bat native in Asia Although they have wings that can span 5'5, it is slightly above the height of the average woman and can only grow a foot in height This hasn't stopped people from freaking out however as bats are now known to be disease carriers such as the one that caused the COVID-19 outbreak in Wuhan, the horseshoe bat, are those ones are much smaller...
