Would you have removed this highly offensive gravestone?

Dailymail revealed the gravestone of the offensive dog name in the United Kingdom as officials have removed the gravestone with that name as it was at a cultural attraction site displaying the name of a dog with the date of its death for over a century The city council refused to remove it when it was discovered last year but it was finally voted out following outrage on protests.. A councilperson said "We can confirm the historical gravestone in memory of a loved pet was removed. Our stance on racism is clear and although the gravestone was from another time it is not appropriate today" The reason for it not being removed back then was because they believed it could educate locals and tourists about racism but that word offended many members of the community One person said "I have looked it online and a lot of people defend it being there as it was "acceptable at the time". They fail to see that it was acceptable only to white people and black people would have, and still are, hurt to see this world immortalised into stone in such a public place" Only one person opposed who said "Why don't we just flatten the whole of British Empire to eradicate the memory of imperialism completely?. Get all of the history books and blank all the pages up until today's date" Another resident said "This is just getting beyond an absolute joke now. I remember seeing that name when i was 5 and i'm 34 now. Leave history alone whether it be a grave or a statue" Would you have removed this gravestone with that word on it? https://i.imgur.com/jV7pQMP.jpg https://i.imgur.com/UqbgB1g.jpg --- The News Will Continue...For Now call me mrduckbear, sweater monkeys.
