Made a tuna poke bowl.

Finding fresh ahi tuna, or ahi tuna at all, is impossible here thanks to covid. I was able to get some frozen yellowfin tuna from a local fish market though, and it's still pretty darn good.

Gotta ease up on the spice next time though. This is a tad hot for my liking.

Not sure I'm going to eat anything tonight. Lunch was an ultra spicy Nongshim Shin Ramyun and several slices of Dave's Killer Good Seed bread, both of which are very tasty, but aren't sitting very well in my stomach for some reason.

I just got back from the market and picked up four wonderful looking, thick cut rib eye steaks. Probably going to have asparagus and some sort of potato dish with them.

Last night's steaks were absolutely amazing.

Tonight we'll be having beef ribs. No idea what we'll be having with them though.

I've had some chicken marinating in the fridge and I'll be making some kabobs with it.

Not entirely sure on sides yet. Definitely cucumbers. I think I have some macaroni salad I need to use up. And maybe carrots or something with it.

I've tried to like brown rice. I just don't though. I have like 5 different kinds of rice at home, and none of them are brown rice.

Hamhocks and beans. All day today and tomorrow. The GF was kind enough to make a big pot for me today. Even though she knows I will be farting like a mad man for the next two days. The last time she almost slept on the couch because I was farting all night. She kept waking up to a stinky room.

The skin and the cartilage is so good. I enjoy the texture as much as the flavor.

I went shopping yesterday and ground beef (80%) was on sale for 2.99 so I got 2 pounds (in seperate containers per pound). I also got these new fajjita soft flour shells, I have some chilli beans, refried beens, tomattos and hot sauce.

Gonna totally try and make some delicious burritos with em!!!

I also got 2 pounds of boneless skinless chicken thighes (tomorrow though), and make tacos out of em as well. I'm making all 2 pounds at one on the grill, but will store most of it in the fridge for later tacos hehe.

So it's self made taco week!!!

And yeah, no steak, I am a bit steaked out ofter all the rib eyes that were on sale the last 2 weeks, I'm taking a break.

I already ate half a pound of immitation crab meat dunked in butter this morning as well.

I'm about to sound really stupid, but... I honestly wasn't aware that was a thing because I'd honestly never seen it before. Huh.

I honestly have no clue what's for dinner tonight. Likely veggie sausages and salad or chicken nuggets.

It's great for BBQing. If you like dark meat (thighs/legs), it's one of the best ways to cook em/make em. A bit of BBQ sauce and your rocking. I'm not using bbq sauce (just spices) since i'm making tacos, but this is an exception. It's seriously good though. Way better than getting em with the bones etc.

See I always liked to shred thighs for tacos, but always had to shred it off the bone too so that is very interesting.

Hadn't even thought of the BBQ angle, but that's a good one too.
