Any particularly reason a 2Br Condo would be more expensive than a 3 or even 4 Br one?

Been checking out some really expensive (seven figure) Condos (outta my price range atm, but hey we can all dream), and the 2Br ones listed were about double the price of the cheaper 3Br and 4Br ones.

I'm not sure, but I think the 2Br ones had more Sq Ft...which would be odd for them to have more than a 3 or 4 Br one

more square footage could be part of it, sometimes they renovate old 3 or 4 bedroom units and take walls down since open floor plans are more popular nowadays

location is another thing to consider

Thx just looked at the actual listings, the 2Br had certain amenities that the cheaper 3Br didn't have (Washer/Dryer, Fridge, In-Door Spa)

So I guess that's why it was priced higher

This remind me of a bit Tom Segura did. He was talking about looking at private jets or yachts that he knew he couldnt afford... Haha.

Watch out on HOA fees on condos. There was this condo I was going to buy, but the HOA fee was like $800 a month. I was looking at a $800,000 condo in the same building and the HOA fees for it was like $2300 a month.

Maintenance fees, Tenants Board Fees, Amenities Fees, etc. And don't forget Property Taxes (if you wanna own one)

I think they do this just to make sure only 'Rich' or Well Off ppl can afford to stay in/on their Property/Buildings and keep out any Riff-Raffs.

If you're talking about units in the same building, floor, face (street side vs courtyard, for example), outdoor space, and finish options can make a smaller unit more expensive than a bigger one.

If you're actually looking to purchase any property I really agree with blu. Watch out for HOA fees and ask if you can see a copy of the governing docs before you decide to purchase. Some HOAs have really ridiculous rules regarding what you can and can't do on your own property.

Yeah. Thats why I try to avoid them. But when I cant, I do ask to see all the rules...
