Yep there was another! I'm glad Gon got to have a real conversation with Ging. And I can see the hooks for the next arc are. The send off credits here were super great as well... just one thing was weird. So Goto or however you spell his name, is actually dead and one of those transforming fox people are pretending to be him for Killua's sake? That's a little odd. Also it looks like Kurappika is not in a great place headspace-wise. Who knew he'd be the no-show original main character.

And that's Hunter X Hunter!! What an awesome show. I really, really enjoyed it!! I can see why its praises are sung so high, it definitely deserves it!

If you want to see a little more you can always keep going with the manga, I think ia has another 40 chapters or so out of content. The bad news is that the arc is not concluded, but it's very good. And it's mostly Kurapika-centered.

At the very least, you should check out Hisoka vs Chrollo. It can be read in isolation just fine.

(yes I spoiled that fight happens but we are close enough that it's barely a spoiler and I needed a sales pitch)

Favorite arc is definitely Chimera Ant. I'd probably rank them Chimera Ant > Phantom Troupe > 13th Chairman > Greed Island > Hunter Exam > Zoldyck Family . 13th Chairman and Greed Island will probably flip over time, but I had a lot of fun with this last arc and I do think Greed Island was a little boring in some places.

Favorite character is tough... the short list of characters that stand out to me when I think of favorites are Gon, Killua, Leorio, Meruem, Morel and Hisoka. Hisoka is a weird... not sure if I really like him or not. My favorite character in a given story is very rarely a main character, but I did really really like Gon a lot.

Nen ability.... I like Smokey Jail, I like Kite's clown thing. Hisoka's abilities are fun because of how uses them. APR is really interesting and very "Stand-like". Netero's 100 Palm stuff was also super awesome.

Also, man, the manga arc is...pretty interesting, but there were like a thousand new characters. Reminds me of the Wano Arc in One Piece.

Right off the top of my head, I'd have to pick the episode where Gon transforms. For something I was already spoiled on and had high hopes about, that episode met and shattered my expectations. I also really liked the Meruem vs. Netero episode, Leorio's Magnificent Return episode, the finales to Greed Island and Chimera Ant.
