It sickens me when people speed like this. I sicken myself for doing it once and nearly killing myself.

I used to drive 110-120 the whole 45 minute drive to school on the interstate. Needless to say, the engine in that Buick LeSabre locked up after two semesters of that abuse.

I wish the punishment for this was pulling the driver out of the vehicle and beating his ass until he dies. No paperwork needed.

Its crazy how many people speed(15-25 mph over limit), though 115 is certainly excessive.

See this is one reason why Cops need to just give up at some point, get the details of the car and suspect and catch them later. There is no reason a chase needed to get to 115. Now 2 innocent people are dead because 1. the idiot in the jeep and 2. they couldn't just wait to catch him later.

I know too many people who I think are reasonable and good but when I get in the car with them they drive like theyre in a Mad Max movie.

Yes, but that is still a hypothetical. Is this guy even a murderer? A lot of police chases aren't for people who just killed someone. He did end up killing 2 people who likely wouldn't be dead if there was no chase. If your actions put citizen in any harm ease back a bit. Sure you could say "he might kill someone later!", but allowing him to go 115 as you continue to give chase is the bigger threat at the moment, as seen why here...

From what it reads it looks like it sped by going that speed and crashed shortly thereafter. This doesn't seem to be a 15-20 minute chase but something that happened in less than 5 minutes.

I dont speed like I used to, and even then it was usually just 10mph over on the highway. Now that Im older, Ive realized it doesnt get me to my destination much faster (if at all) and theres almost never a rush.

115 on a freeway, letalone a public road is all kinds of stupid. And unfortunately in this case, lethally stupid. My limit is 90, and only because it was either that, or being late to work.

Thankfully I'm able to get my speed demon kick on a private road that lets me hit 145mph without endangering anyone else besides myself.
