I actually don't know much about those books. I do know that the Book of Jude makes reference to a number of extrabiblical texts but I'm not certain whether these are the same texts.

Catholics typically use the King James which is terrible. Go get an NIV or NLT bible, it's much better to read.

The process of translation in general is imperfect, and a variety of tradeoffs are made in the process. You see it all the time with the scripts of Japanese video games as a prime example. The Bible is no exception. There are a number of translation philosophies, ranging from a word-for-word translation vs a thought-for-thought translation to a literal translation vs a readable translation, and all of them have decent arguments in their favor. The original King James Version was commissioned as a readable translation for the common 17th Century English speaker, and has remained one of the most popular English translations in the world ever since. But its primary advantage is far outdated. A lot of misconceptions can arise this way. For example, check out this passage from Ecclesiastes 3: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.biblegateway.com/passage/%3fsearch=Ecclesiastes%2b3:1-8&version=KJV&interface=amp Both the KJV and the NIV use the word "kill" in verse 3. But check out this side by side of Exodus 20:13: https://biblehub.com/exodus/20-13.htm Almost every major translation that isn't KJV or a variation thereon translates the word as "murder" rather than "kill." Presumably there's some nuance in 17th century English by which there's no contradiction, but to a modern reader this is clearer in the NIV than the KJV. Another great and iconic example is in 1 Timothy 6:10, where almost every major translation other than the 1611 KJV (even including some updated KJVs) specify that the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. https://biblehub.com/1_timothy/6-10.htm Now I'm not anti-KJV by any means, but it's certainly not a translation anyone in the 21st century should read without a commentary on the translation or a side-by-side with another translation or two to provide context for these kinds of things. NIV(1978/1984) and NLT, as mentioned above, are good translations that are more easily readable and good complements both for each other and KJV. Notice I omit NIV 2011.
