Anyone having an issue where if you load up a video you have a white video with an ad timer on the bottom left and a "Skip ad" on the bottom right? Anyway to fix it?

This. It superseded ABP a long time ago.

I use uBlock Origin and for most of this week when I open a video in a tab I get the same issue as OP. It's not a big issue since doing this pauses the video and if you just wait a few seconds the skip ad button appears and you don't have to watch any ads. It's still a bit annoying though.

If you've got Firefox you don't even really need Adblock of any kind, just use NoScript. It's better anyway.

I use ABP and NoScript on Firefox and never have ads on Youtube...

Ironically when I'm switched to Ublock Origin and NoScript, I get ads sometimes.
(I've heard it's not good to run ABP and Ublock together; and some sites I need Ublock, so I switch around as needed)

Worth noting that the Ublock script used to block youtube ads is an Adblock script...

I use firefox, and like I said, it happens when I open a video in a tab. When I just click on a video no ads play.
