People data mining discovered that Gamefreak deleted the Pokdex entries of the Pokmon that are coming back in Crown Tundra, causing gaps, while they just left/didnt touch the ones of Pokmon that arent coming back (Like Pidgey, etc.)

Every fossil is coming back except Gen 4s

Well Fini is the only one who can't make much use of its Terrain move so not it! If I had to guess, probably Lele.

So bringing Pokemon from Home doesn't fill the armor dex but if you put a Pokemon into the daycare and take it out, that counts as having attained it.

I'm annoyed that I need a switch membership in order to battle on the vgc ladder for pokemon now, in addition to memberships for both pokemon home AND pokemon bank in order to transfer my giant freakin squad. Getting nickeled and dimed to death here. Also the weird 'opt out of automatic renewal' signup for home is exploiting literal children, so that's pretty fuckin wack

As for the actual DLC content, I can't imagine anyone who's interested in vgc NOT getting it, given all the new swag it provides. Plus the fact that you can wipe region marks now is HUGE, that saves so much time. The actual island is more of an afterthought (Urshifu sure is good though)

The 1 million Zeraora raids have been reached, so everyone can get a shiny Zeraora in Home next week. According to the Pokemon.com, to qualify to receive one:

You must have deposited a Pokmon in Pokmon HOME or moved a Pokmon to Pokmon Sword or Pokmon Shield from Pokmon HOME between Wednesday, June 17, 2020, at 8:00 a.m. PDT and Monday, July 6, 2020, at 4:59 p.m. PDT.

It'll apparently only be redeemable from June 29th to July 6th.

Even worse, it can only be obtained through the Mobile version of Pokemon Home. That's a problem for me since I don't have a phone.

I was able to get access to the Mobile version of Pokemon Home by using an Android emulator on my PC, and it looks like I got it up and running successfully.

Battled Honey. Got my in-game team to lvl 100. Basically done with the DLC though I guess I wouldn't mind being able to Gigantamax all the available Pokemon.

I was also able to get a Kubfu this morning via GTS...just had to constantly refresh and give up 1 of my 2 Reshirams. So now the living Dex can continue on.

(Although technically I am missing Marshadow, Volcanion and Zeraora; at least one of those will be dealt with sooner rather than later)

Welp went to go get Zeraora and of course the servers got crashed, they're doing maintenance now.

I know it's a pretty minor problem, but I feel like this kind of stuff is a constant with Nintendo products. Like you would think they would know the size of their fanbase at this point and how to properly accomadate that.

Guess I gotta look up Home then.

You have to download it on your phone and your Switch, and make sure both are linked to your Nintendo account. You can't get it unless you have both, because you have to redeem it on the phone version and then transfer it into Sword/Shield from the Switch version.

I found a shiny Karrablast in White as my first encounter in the route it was found.

That was pretty fun, too bad the Pokedex showed a normal looking one though.

Game Freak has messed up before when it comes to things like this. Back when Pokemon Home first came out, people were reporting that their shiny Lunala/Solgaleo/Necrozma couldn't be used in online raids. That was something that had to wait for a fix to the online hack checks.

There is very little to it, unless you want to play VGC online. In which case it's necessary IMO

Did anyone do every type of restriction battle?
I only tried once with my BR Gardevoir and cleared the Psychic one quite easily...so I assume the other types are easy as well..if you have BR Pokeomn. Which I barely do, so that sucks
I can use her for Fairy as well I guess. It will be long and boring but i'll try and finish all 18 types

Yeah, I went through all of the types. Didn't have too hard of a time with any, but I've got at least one solid BR 'mon of each type.

Moxie Gyarados and crit Togekiss both shred, so I went through 10 rounds with their three types. Only bothered getting five with the rest.
