We're less than a few hours away from the first DLC (Isle of Armor) being released in certain parts of the world, so I am getting this topic set it up right now. The previous topic (Part 3) purged before it even got close to 500 posts, so I'm going to remake this topic as Part 4 instead.

New Zealand would be expected to get the DLC first based on their time zone, followed by places like Australia and Japan next. The US would most likely get it at 12:00 AM EST on June 17th.

A new update patch is available to download. I'm guessing it went live around 9:00 AM EST, since I tried checking for a new update shortly before the Pokemon Presents livestream started.

Kubfu - 60 / 90 / 60 / 53 / 50 / 72
Urshifu - 100 / 130 / 100 / 63 / 60 / 97
Zarude - 105 / 120 / 105 / 70 / 95 / 105
Galarian Slowbro - 95 / 100 / 95 / 100 / 70 / 30

These were discovered by SciresM, one of the main dataminers for the Pokemon games (along with Kaphotics).

So without buying the DLC the only way to get the new old Pokmon from what I was told is trading, Pokemon Home or joining a raid for one hosted by somebody who bought the DLC?

the ability to erase old region marks so you can use old pokes in online ranked is a fucking lifesaver

Yeah. If you don't have the DLC, you gotta trade/transfer them in or find a raid.

Huh, so one of the new move tutors is an Ice attack called Expanding Force that's only taught to Psychic Pokemon (so the only Ice-type that can currently learn it is Galarian Mr. Mime/Mr. Rime). It gets boosted if Psychic Terrain is in effect. Sounds like something that was meant for Galarian Articuno that they just decided to give to other Psychics because fuck actually using Ice Pokemon I guess.

Also there's finally a strong physical Ghost move (really only usable in competitive play though), a Water-type U-Turn, and a Ground type Scald. A Dragon-type Bullet Seed too, but nothing with Skill Link or Technician can learn it, lol.

Honestly, unless we see a dragon with skill link or technician, nobody would ever choose to run it even on a pokemon w/ technician or skill link unless their movepools were terrible. Dragon is a pretty junk coverage move now with fairy around.

Most of the new moves are cool though!

One thing I'm wondering about, is how Lash Out works with defiant. Like, say you get bapped by intimidate, then defiant gives you the +2 atk. Does this count as a stat drop for the doubling power? Imagine bisharp at +1 atk with a 150 BP stab move. That's gonna leave a mark

By the time I get around to testing this I'm sure someone will already know but it sure will be interesting!

Only Flip Turn, Triple Axel, and Scorching Sands are reskins. Its just that they happen to be reskins of popular meta moves.

Eh, there are still plenty of unique moves being added every generation. Even this batch of DLC moves includes a bunch of unique moves, like some that work with terrains. Even when they do make clone moves, they generally don't go that far with it. We still don't even have Quick Attack variations for many types, even ones that make sense like Electric or Flying.

Yeah if Crown Tundra adds this feature for the entire game then I'll be tempted to buy the dlc

I liked exploring the island. I went all around it before even entering the Dojo. I love the variety of wild Pokemon roaming around

Wasn't sure if I wanted to use my OG Sword team or the 2nd run all shiny team for this, ended up just grabbing a few from each + Kubfu.

Once the 2nd DLC drops and I run through it once I'll probably do a third playthrough with the last starter I haven't picked and hit these DLC areas at low levels.

People data mining discovered that Gamefreak deleted the Pokdex entries of the Pokmon that are coming back in Crown Tundra, causing gaps, while they just left/didnt touch the ones of Pokmon that arent coming back (Like Pidgey, etc.)

Every fossil is coming back except Gen 4s
