At least early on before his Flanderization, Buck was genuinely appreciative towards Hank and viewed him as a model employee (he called him "the golden goose") And he just clearly loves the work. He's one of those dudes who loves what he sells and likes interacting with customers --- Not removing this until Mega Man 64 is released on the Wii Virtual Console. He trusts Buck, and feels grateful for the job. He also seems to really like the work though. Hank would be better off running his own propane business though.
