I'm kind of envious of the people who are quarantined. I've been working the entire time, so while I have more money, I sometimes would like to balance that with play more video games. I could have really worked on my backlog a little.

I beat Persona 5 Royal partially with all the extra time I had. I was still working just with a reduced schedule.

Just one game but it felt nice to finish a 100+ hour game and clear it from my to do list.

17 games if count up to now from march.

At least i cleared out my backlog quite decently.

I'm also working but have been trying to fit in games on nights and weekend. I'm leaving the house a lot less during the weekends so playing a little more than normal

I really want to play Borderlands 3 but it keeps crashing. Graphics settings far below what my PC can handle. Thanks 2K.

So far I've done Trails from Zero, Azure, Cold Steel and working through Cold Steel II.

My personal favorite is Trails of Azure. it's not officially out in english so you have to use fan translation for it. still excellent game.

trails of azure is part of long running series Trails or called kiseki in japan. it's a JRPG that are really well written and have one of the best worldbuilding ever in games. I like the avengers analogy for these games. Each "series" are in the majority self contained stories with their own characters and conflicts, but they do get interconnected as the series goes.It's like watching avengers, you can enjoy the thor movies without watching iron man 1, or doctor strange without watching guardians of the galaxy, but you probably want to watch thor 1 before watching thor 2.
The trails series mostly works the same way.

currently there are 3 series out:

Trails in the sky / Liberl Arc(3 games)
Crossbell arc (2 games)
Trails of cold Steel / Erebonia Arc (4 games, the 4th will be localized later this year for ps4 and next year for Pc/switch)

you can start with any first games in the series, but cold steel 3 and 4 is more like newest avengers movies where the characters and plot starting to get interconnected. While you can enjoy for example, watching infinity war first for its plot and spectacles first, you wont even scratch the surface of depth the world has developed over many years.
So basically sky, zero, cold steel 1 is as good as starting point as any. Sky 1 and cold steel 1 is a better starting point because some part of zero story contains resolution of sky's hanging plotlone regarding of one of the characters in Sky SC.
Altho, ultimately my best recommendation is playing them chronologically. Take your time. Play FC first, take a break, then play SC, etc. Dont rush trough them.
